“ONEderful” is right. As we approach Palmer’s second birthday I figured that it was about time we share her first birthday with you! We celebrated ONE with not only family but so many of her favorite Blabla friends. That is why we called it her Blabla Birthday! What is a Blabla doll? They are our absolute favorite hand knitted dolls perfect for any child’s bedroom or nursery. Palmer just got to the age where she loves to carry them around and push them in her baby stroller. Needless to say, it wasn’t a first birthday without our Blabla’s.

My favorite thing to do when throwing a party is to pick a theme and then choose about 2-3 colors for a color scheme! I will use those colors in the balloons, cake, and table decor and mix them all in with various textures. When it comes to kids’ parties I don’t limit myself to the colors of the theme that I pick. For example, if we did a Mickey Mouse party, my first preference of color would not be red and black but rather a few pastel colors and maybe incorporate the Mickey Mouse silhouette in her birthday cake and party favors. In this case we chose a few pastel colors, our favorite Blabla dolls and some fresh tulips. If you want to make a space or a party come to life – just add flowers/greenery! Always!
